The Blessing of Pets on Sunday 22 September, 3pm in the grounds of St Peter’s

Join us for the annual Blessing of Pets service to celebrate the importance of animals in our lives and the community. A voluntary collection will be taken for the RSPCA. Animals should be on a lead, in a basket or other suitable restraint. Refreshments after the service. The service will take place in the grounds of the church, close to the corner of Gerard and Winnie Streets. In the event of wet weather the service will be held within the church. Sunday 29 September, 3pm at St Peter’s

On Sunday 29 September at 3pm, St Peter’s will host an organ recital by Michael Bawtree. Michael has given recitals in twenty British cathedrals, across the United States, and in Bermuda, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzlerland. He regularly plays organ and orchestral keyboard for the RSNO and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and was recently a soloist in Saint-Saens’ Organ Symphony with the RSNO at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Museum.  More details of the concert in coming weeks. Tickets available at the door (cash only) $15 Adults/$10 Concession.

Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October, 9-3pm

The popular St Peter’s Holiday Club will return these coming school holidays. To be held on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October, from 9am-3pm, the Club is open to any schoolchildren (kindergarten to Year 6). The cost is $15 per child, per day.
