We endeavour to improve accessibility to our church and have special provisions in place for those with limited mobility, impaired hearing and/or impaired sight. Please get in touch with us if you believe there are other ways we can improve in this regard.
Level access to the church during services is from Winnie Street, where there is a reserved drop-off space.
A toilet for the mobility impaired is provided in the David Armstrong Room during services.
Help improve accessibility to St Peter’s Anglican Church and its buildings
St Peter’s has lodged an application for a community project grant with the State Government to fund the installation of an access ramp to aid accessibility to the church and its buildings. The My Community Grant project commences 15 July and if you are a member of the local electorate (Willoughby) you are eligible to participate. The project involves installing two ramps to improve access to the Church, the Memorial Hall, the Lower Hall and to Neutral Bay Kindergarten. Our concern is that access to these spaces could be improved for prams, wheelchairs and those with lesser mobility, How to vote instructions will be available online, at www.nsw.gov.au/mycommunityproject from 15 July.
A hearing loop operates for the pews on the left side of the church.
A large print version of the weekly pew sheet is available. If you would like a copy please request this from the Sidesperson.
